Scream

Scream has achieved the status of classic in the horror realm, it is little wonder why. This film is brilliant with perfect pacing and a wonderfully developed plot. While some other the technology is dated it doesn’t take away from the film and in my opinion sets this film straight into the timeless category. The scares are brilliant and the human nature of the killer is great. Adding the mistakes and issues of the killer in his act makes the movie even more scary than the typical untouchable killer. I’m not  a fan of serial killer flicks but this one is great and is no only a must see but a must own.

Bottom Line (Warning Contains Spoilers)

Well I wasn’t expecting to like this film. Honestly I don’t care about serial killers, but this film surprised me. At first I thought it was going to be a single person doing all the killings. I was surprised to find that it was actually two people committing the crimes and that they were playing mind games with Casey, played by Drew Barrymore. The other thing I enjoyed was the killer was human and could make plenty of mistakes. It added great tension to the final scene before they were caught.
