I want to start this review off by saying that I normally don’t enjoy watching children movies, but Minions is one of those exception. From start to end the movie is hilarious, adorable, and can be enjoyed by multiple generations. The great thing about this film is even though the characters are based off of Despicable Me it is a standalone film and doesn’t require the viewer to have seen the previous films. This film surprised me in the fact that it is has high replay value. If you like to laugh and have a good time sit down with the family and watch this film.
Bottom Line (Warning Contains Spoilers)
The entire plot of this film is great from the minions trying to find their perfect evil villain leader to going to Villain Con and stealing the Queen’s crown. What really made this film to me was the minion Bob while he was a great a kind loving evil villain who tried to please everyone. The final scene where he bids his old master good bye it is adorable. The best thing is there is something for every generation, like the T.V. show of the dating game and the 60’s period to the rat that Bob befriends in the sewers. It’s a great film.
