Curse Of The Swamp Creature

Curse Of The Swamp Creature is a sci-fi/horror film from 1966. The plot while decent leaves a lot to be desired. For one the movie is fairly slow pace and I found myself laughing more at how ridiculous some scenes are. At times the lines feel forced leaving little attachment to any character. The best part of the movie was the special effects. They are comical and makes the film at little more bearable. If you want a bad sci-fi horror film this is the one for you.

Bottom Line (Warning Contains Spoilers)

The film focuses on a ‘mad scientist’ who is trying to create a swamp creature. He is on a secluded part of a swamp. The main protagonist really shows up at the beginning of the film and then he doesn’t have another scene until the end of the film. It really focuses on the mad scientist and how evil he is. He owns a pit of crocodiles and acts like a James Bond villain more than a scientist. The ending is a typical end for a bad monster flick and isn’t impressive or something outrageous. Curse Of The Swamp Creature is just a D rate sci-fi movie which isn’t really worth watching.
