Casablanca

Casablanca is nothing short of amazing. This film is a classic and there is no question why it is regarded as such. The acting is phenomenal. The plot is wonderful and timeless not to mention there are several lines that are used by multiple films even today. If you have not seen this film do so it is truly a masterpiece.

Bottom Line (Warning Contains Spoilers)

This film is fantastic. It has everything from the love triangle between Bogart, Bergman, and Rains. To the interesting character of Victor Laszlo, played by Paul Henreid, who is an uncaring and different type of policeman altogether. The story takes place in Casablanca during WW2 the premise of the film i s that Rick Blaine, Humphrey Bogart, is a casino owner who left Paris to flee the Germans. He then manages to get hold of two export visas to the U.S., the dream of escape. He then runs into his former love interest Ilsa Lund, Ingrid Bergman, and find out she was married the entire time they were together. Only she didn’t know that her husband, Claude Rains, was alive. This is why the film is so good the plot is incredible, the lines classic, and the ending where Rick actually has a heart and lets Rains and Bergman get on a plane with the visas and escape. It is just timeless I can watch this film over and over again and again. It’s a must own.
